Sending Me Pictures.


While i'm on my mission, please use the "For Elder Rowley" Folder!

Using Internet Explorer 6 as an ftp client, click or type ftp.DerekRowley.com into the address bar. Once there you will see a folder named anonymous. Open the anonymous folder.


If your screen doesn't look the same as above then click here

Find the images you would like to share on your computer and drag the folder containing those images into the anonymous folder.



The images will then upload. Depending on how many images and the size of each image it may take anywhere from 1 minute to several, or even more to finish uploading.




Please also include a txt file or word document with your name and e'mail address. Place this file into the same folder the pictures are in (Including the date of the pictures and a brief description is greatly appreciated too!).


Or use your favorite ftp client!

Changing IE setting to allow "Folder view of ftp sites"
This also enables draging and droping to and from the ftp server.

If your screen looks like this:

Then follow these simple steps:

Open Internet Explorer Option
Click Tools then Internet Options



Then Choose the Advanced tab on the right side

Make sure "Enable folder view for FTP sites" is checked.



Click "OK"
You may have to close and re-open Internet Explorer for the changes to happen.
